The 8 card preview set includes stars Mattingly, Puckett, and Griffey Jr.

This card resembles the promotional release in style, but includes an image of Frank at the plate versus in the field as seen on the promotional release.

The preview/sample card is distinguished from its pack-released counterpart by the addition of the Franklin logo on Frank's batting glove. Threatened litigation caused the Leaf Company to remove the logo from released version, but the Courts later found Leaf to be clear of fault.

Distinguishable by cropping differences in comparison to the pack released version.
